Learning with Prezi

I’m just going to say it. I love Prezi!

I think it’s a great tool to use as an alternative to the classic PowerPoint presentation. Some of the highlights of Prezi include using Prezi as a mind-mapping tool that can be shown to students or where students can build one themselves. Prezi also allows the user to zoom into a picture for a visual focus on specific details. Timelines can also be easily built with some neat visuals to help students see the history. What’s also neat is how images, videos, and text can all be smoothly embedded in a presentation.

I also like that students can use Prezi to create their own presentations, as well as using the software as a graphic organizer tool. They can use it to collaborate their ideas with their peers in the classroom and around the world.

Here are some great examples of Prezi presentations. Did I make a believer out of you?
